Do you want a perfect sandal? Then take a look at the different models of Salt-Water Sandals. Salt-Water sandals are ideal for the beach, because they have a special coating to protect the leather and buckles against (salt) water. They are comfortable and made of supple leather in all kinds of colors such as gold, rose gold, tan, black and much more. Made in the USA. After WWII there was a shortage of leather in the USA, and shoes became scarce. To better deal with these shortages, Walter Boy started making sandals from scrap leather left over from making military boots. And the rest is history….
The models of Salt-Water Sandals
In our webshop you will find Salt-Water Sandals in different models and colors. We list them all.
- Original - Suitable for narrow feet and low instep. Leather soles.
- Surfer - Suitable for almost all foot types because of the two buckles. With rubber sole.
- Swimmer - Has a rubber sole and is not suitable for feet with a high instep.
- Seawee - Model for the little ones up to size 19.
- Sailor - Model for the little ones up to size 19.
- Shark - Has a rubber sole and densely braided front. Back is also closed.
- Sweetheart - Same fit as the Surfer, but with punched out hearts.
How do the Salt-Water Sandals fit?
The different Salt-Water sandals do not fit the same. That is why we have indicated the length for each model. Do not buy Salt-Water Sandals on the growth. The risk of your child tripping and the risk of wear and tear is then very high. Fitting is easy with the Original model. The foot must fit exactly between the stitching.

Care Of Salt Water Sandals
The lasting quality of Salt-Water Sandals is unquestionable. But what else makes these sandals so special?
All sandals are equipped with stainless metal buckles so you can just go into the water with them.
The Original sandals have quilted leather soles. The leather is finished with a water resistant sealant and molds to the user's foot with use.
You can clean the sandals with a mild cleaning agent. They can even be washed cold in the washing machine. Hang them to dry and they are ready for the next adventure!
Due to the sustainable materials, Salt Water Sandals will last for years. When your child grows out of the sandals, they can therefore easily be passed on to other kids.
To break in the sandals well, wet them well when you wear them for the first time. As the leather dries, the sandal will conform better to the foot.
